Google Inc has just announced in their official blog that they have released the latest version of Google Earth for Android devices.

The latest version of this app, v2.0 bringing optimization and a whole new look for Android 3.0 Honeycomb and above tablets.

Here’s the official changelog of Google Earth v2.0 for Android smartphones ;

Now with a whole new look for tablet devices, including :

1. A new action bar with easy access to Search, North reset, My Location, and Layers
2. Fully textured 3D buildings (supported on most tablet devices)
3. Pop-up balloons when you click on icons such as places, photos, and other layer content
