Google Shopper has a feature similar to Google Goggles where real-life objects are recognized by Android phones. Since applications are made to help people save time, although it only works for Android currently, this application is still worth mentioning. The rise of applications in the market is steady, people love them and would save as much as they can for their comfort.

A problem arises when there’s too much apps, just like on an unorganized geek’s desktop (do they even exist?) where 50-plus icons are scattered, time consumed in searching for a specific app is highly stressful. Now, imagine turning your Android phone’s touch screen into a screen-wide search machine which only requires that you "write" letters and/or numbers of the application you are looking for using your index finger (or pinky)? Works for contacts and music tracks too.

The latest version of this app, v2.0 bringing optimization and a whole new look for Android 3.0 Honeycomb and above tablets.

While there are plenty of video calling applications for Android, a native one that works with other Android devices, like tablets, or over Gmail is awfully useful. After all, you might want to have video calls with friends and family members who don’t own Android devices, but you’ll be able to video chat with them if they’re near a computer and use Gmail.

Sometimes, the expressions on a person’s face can mean much more than what they say. To help you stay in touch with your friends and family, we’re launching Google Talk with video and voice chat for Android phones. You can now video or voice chat with your friends, family and colleagues right from your Android phone, whether they’re on their compatible Android tablet or phone, or using Gmail with Google Talk on their computer. You can make calls over a 3G or 4G data network (if your carrier supports it) or over Wi-Fi.

So, when is the feature coming to your phone? Depending on your software version, maybe never:

Google Talk with video and voice chat will gradually roll out to Nexus S devices in the next few weeks as part of the Android 2.3.4 over-the-air update and will launch on other Android 2.3+ devices in the future. To learn more about using video and voice chat, check out our Help Center.

It might be a bit of a bummer, but many newer devices may end up getting Android 2.3 Gingerbread in the future, so don’t give up hope. Just don’t hold your breath.

Some time ago Google's 'clean up' in the Android Market to get rid of applications that contain malicious programs, and this time the internet giant to combat further down to Android phone users.

Android is one of the operating system that is widely used, not surprisingly, then many viruses are being developed to attack its users. Call it two new viruses are discovered by antivirus companies from China, NetQin Mobile.

Seeing this, Google did move swiftly to stem the rate of the virus. One of them by creating applications that can eradicate the virus until the cell phone Android users.

Quoted from PCMag, Monday (07/03/2011), who contracted the virus Android phone will automatically be cleaned by Google. In addition, users will also be sent an email about any application that dangerous in the cell phone.

"If your device is infected with a virus, then you will get an email from android-market-support@google.com within 72 hours. You will also receive notification that the Android Market Security Tool March 2011 has been installed into the phone," wrote Google.

Recently bought a small software company from Germany called Zynamics. Companies established in 2004 is focused on reverse engineering.

Reverse engineering is focused by the Zynamics analyzing software (malware in particular) which do not have the source code. Similarly, as quoted by Mashable, Wednesday (02/03/2011).

It is a complex and interesting problem to be solved, which makes the team and product Zynamics deemed suitable for Google, a company known to have great interest to solve complex problems.

"We are delighted to have gained Zynamics and hoping that their capabilities and tools in the fight against malware will help us protect Google's users," said Google's party.

For the future fate of Zynamics unclear, but clearly if the company will support Google's online security system.

Currently offering from Zynamic is to focus on the needs of specialist information security and malware analysts. their products referred to as innovative people and save time.

The products of Zynamics already included BinDiff, BinNavi, PDF Dissector, VxClass and BinCrowd.

In addition to these products, Google is also hiring a good and experienced team.
