LinkedIn has finally marked its arrival over the Android Market after several months of development and testing. LinkedIn for Android brings your professional network in the touch of your hands. Android users can now connect with over 100 million professionals worldwide while registering real-time updates and messages from your network.

LinkedIn 1.0 for Android requires a storage space of 1.16MB and can be downloaded under the social category, available for FREE. For those not aware or familiar with LinkedIn, it is a simple social networking site designed for professionals focussed on career development and job opportunities.

With the LinkedIn Android App you have a lot in your palm. Login and manage your account while browsing around the “updates” section which displays the latest stream of network updates including recommendations, recent position changes and new connections. Moreover, Android users can easily view and message people with in the “connections” section.

You can even browse through the “Reconnect” section where you would find a list of people who you might know and want to establish a connection. Use the invite button to get connected with individuals who you know or have worked with.

One of the best Android app I have managed to bump in which surely builds and strengthen your professional career.
